Price Is Right, The Ride PICS! (Thanks Adam)
Adam Sandler (the TPIR producer and stage god, not the comedian and actor) got me these sample pics for our "Price Is Right, The Ride" project. Can't wait to have these available for every taping. :)
Looks awesome, but how's it gonna work when people are waiting in the dark outside? Will there be a whole set-up with a green screen, lighting rig, camera set-up and everything? I can't wait to see how this is all gonna work!
Doug, it's a green screen, lighting rig, camera laptop setup under the roof. It's done after the late-night line-waiting is done, when you've got the name tag and are waiting for the screening interview and whatnot.
The only problem I've had is that the link to the photos from Monday isn't up on the site yet!
Wow! What a great idea. Back in the '80s, you could send a postcard from CBS announcing your airdate. Now you can post your pic from TPIR the Ride on your page. How 21st Century!
So that's the Adam Sandler you were talking about. Whoops! But still, you should kick his ass in one of his movies and I mean the actor. I really like the idea of the ride project. At least the people who walk out with nothing at least get a better souvenir, rather then your loss of humanity and your name tag.
Sorry for my previous comment in an earlier post. I assumed you were talking about the actor Adam Sandler. Although, I was enjoying the mental picture of Happy Madison hosting TPIR. ("You're still gonna bid a dollar on that? You calling that chest of drawers CRAP?! I DIDN'T THINK SO!")
No... both the dudes in the pics are employees of the company that we work with to make these. Adam Sandler is our stage manager. He's right between me and the cameras during the whole taping if you ever get to one.
Great job on the new "homebase". It looks awesome. The lights outlining the front stage is a big plus (however, they should be running). .......and the Intro? It's about time "STAR" was changed to "HOST". A Star is someting in the air and known more as a celebrity. Excellent changes, for Season 38. Keep up the good work, Drew, Mike, "Finger's" and the rest of the crew. Your work is noticable. Drew -you look more relaxed this season and you fit PERFECT. Rock on!
hey drew, shout-out from seattle. you're awesome keep up the good work. seattle loves you and we hope you can make most of the games. can't wait for nkufo. great signing. go sounders!
Drew seen that you are a investor in a soccer (football)club I would like if you want to better your club, that read my page, you'll see the diference right away! http://futbol-my-way.blogspot.com/ Walter

Wow, these are awesome!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to make it out to my first taping!
I'm probably the only person who would want to pose with the Sherlock Holmes caricature from Master Key.

You're awesome Drew! I'm busy with university but I still give you an hour of each morning. I skipped class today to see the old guy from LA win!
